JobAgent update: guided setup, right in your terminal!

After sharing the first version, I realized that getting JobAgent running on someone else's PC still involved too much manual configuration. I've added a guided setup wizard built with Python and Textual.
It walks you through checking dependencies, importing a PDF/DOCX resume, confirming extracted facts, setting job references, and connecting Hermes, Gmail through n8n and Discord.
The interface keeps a classic terminal look with keyboard navigation, clear steps, and saved progress. Existing settings are preserved, and account authorization stays in the relevant services.
Before enabling automation, you can run a verification flow that generates a sample application package and post it to Discord outside your real application tracker. You then review the model, timezone, and schedules before activating recurring jobs.
It is still a work in progress, feedback and issue tickets are highly appreciated and the scripts are opensource!

I first had an idea making this tool as nahirapan ako mag manage at mag check ng mga job applications ko sa pakadami dami kong inapply after my graduation. Then I finally decided to build this as I was kinda losing motivation na as I kept sending resumes and no feedback or such. So I decided to build something that could make the process less overwhelming. I started with a local database. Then I connected my Gmail job alerts and application emails through n8n, added tracking for confirmations, rejections, and interviews, and used Discord so I could see everything in one place. I also added job filtering and cover letter drafts, but I still review everything myself. It never applies or sends emails for me. It is still a work in progress, but it already helps me stay organized and keep going.
