Kemdara started from a growing concern around post-quantum cryptography.
As organizations begin preparing for a future where traditional public-key cryptography may no longer be sufficient, developers need practical ways to understand, test, and compare post-quantum algorithms — not just read about them in papers.
Kemdara was created as an open-source cryptography laboratory for experimenting with post-quantum KEMs and related protocols, measuring performance, memory usage, wire size, and implementation tradeoffs across real systems.
The goal is to make the transition to post-quantum cryptography easier to study, validate, and reason about before these technologies become a production requirement.
