Terms of Service

Last updated August 22, 2026

The short version

stackinfolio is a place to showcase what you build and share your progress. Be honest about who you are, don't post anything illegal or abusive, and you own everything you post. That's most of it — the rest is the standard fine print below.

Your account

You need a GitHub account to sign in. You must be at least 13 years old to use stackinfolio. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Your content

You own everything you post — your profile, projects, and journey posts. By posting it, you give stackinfolio a license to display it on the platform (and wherever you choose to share your public profile link). You're responsible for what you post, and it must be yours to share.

Acceptable use

Don't use stackinfolio to:

  • Post anything illegal, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights
  • Impersonate another person or organization
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the platform or its infrastructure
  • Scrape or harvest other users' data beyond normal use of the site

Third-party links

Project URLs and social links on stackinfolio point to sites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or practices.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings — this is immediate and permanent. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

No warranty

stackinfolio is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, stackinfolio isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
